THIS is mama’s wisdom:
The answer to “Where is God?” lies deep
within each of us, and therein lies the irony
for where the answer resides there its subject dwells.

My Mama's Wisdom
To my children when they were young:
“Don’t hit the tree with your bat (or pull off a branch or leaves)! It’s a living thing. How do you know it doesn’t feel pain just in a different way than we do?”
"I don't want to hear your tattles unless someone is bleeding or the house is on fire."
I passed along to them
“We’re here to love and help each other, bottom line.” (and if the person to whom I’m speaking seems open to it, I add) “That’s the way we help ourselves, because in Spirit, we are one.”
To have a friend, be a friend.
Don't ever let anyone tell you they are better than you, but don't you ever believe you are better than anyone else. We all have our strengths and weaknesses.
Tired is in your body, sleepy is in your eyes.
All YOU have to do is live, die, pay taxes and MIND YOUR MAMA!
Mama used to say that Christmas is Jesus' birthday. We give gifts to those we love because we cannot directly give gifts to Him.
