for your Young Children
Start them out right (well, in my opinion) by reading to them often from the time they are big enough to prop up in your lap. Let them see you reading. Go from just pointing at and naming the pictures, to reading simple stories, to pointing to the words. Let them turn the pages when they are ready.
Mama says to always teach them to respect books, magazines and newspapers.
